Sunshine House International Pre-school (Clearwater Bay Campus) School Visit
Address: Level 5, Silverstrand Mart, No. 2 Silver Cape Road, Clearwater Bay, Sai Kung
Free parking space is available.
The campus is relatively small. There are two K1 classes and one K2 class. However, as the number of students per class is relatively low, there is enough space for the students to play and enjoy their school life in the classrooms.
For K1, there are two streams: Bilingual and English only streams.
You can refer to the daily timetable for each stream below:
There is also a common playroom (which is relatively big) for the students to run around and play as well.
There is no primary school network for the pre-school. However, according to the staff, there were 5 graduates from last year who got accepted in Australian International School, 1 went to CIS, and 1 went to American International School (out of 9 K2 graduates from last year).
School fee: $6300 HKD per month
Admission doesn't seem to be as difficult as some other kindergartens (as there are still places available for 2014-2015 as of now)
You can find out more information from their school website as well.
Victor's Comment:
If you are looking for a free and happy school, then this might be what you are looking for. Also, the language environment is quite good as almost all of the staff are native speaking foreigners. Also, the teacher seems to have more time to take care of each student individually as the number of students in a class is low.

German Swiss International School Sai Kung Campus
A new kindergarten and playgroup campus of German Swiss International School will be opened in Sai Kung in 2014.
Things to keep in mind:
- The class will be taught in German (i.e. German stream)
- The debenture structure is the same as the other campus
- No assessment fee is required for this campus
- The tuition fee is slightly lower than the other campus
- Children joining the Kindergarten in Sai Kung will not automatically go through to Primary school. They will have to meet the entrance requirements for either stream and go through the entrance assessments. Attending the Kindergarten in Sai Kung will not guarantee your child a place in our Primary school
For more details, please visit here.
